Discover how QNX Everywhere is making it easy for real-time embedded development by giving engineers free, non-commercial access to the same QNX® OS, tools, and capabilities trusted in mission-critical systems.
This workshop shows technical professionals in medical, robotics, industrial, and aerospace domains how to rapidly prototype using familiar open-source workflows while leveraging deterministic performance and safety-grade architecture. Learn how to accelerate innovation, validate ideas, and build high-performance embedded solutions with confidence. In this workshop attendees will get an introduction the QNX 8.0.2 operating system and will develop a project to run on a target Raspberry Pi board.
Agenda
Introduction to QNX, and its safe and secure embedded operating systems, hypervisors, middleware, solutions, and development tools.
Get set up to start developing with QNX.
Build your first QNX application to run on embedded target with the help of expert QNX developers.
Final Q&A

QNX Swag and Giveaways
Workshop attendees will receive QNX swag and be entered into a prize drawing to win one of two packages consisting of: one Raspberry Pi 5 (8GB RAM board) and a copy of “Embedded Software Development for Safety-Critical Systems, 2nd Edition” book by Chris Hobbs. Each prize package is valued at $250.
Raspberry Pi 5 (with a Broadcom BCM2712 quad-core Arm Cortex A76 processor) will be provided for use during the workshop. Please bring a Windows-based laptop (no Mac). It is recommended to download VS Code IDE with the QNX Toolkit and a VNC Client in advance. Download links will be sent by email upon registration confirmation with a QNX representative.
QNX Everywhere provides free access to QNX software for students, hobbyists, and prototypers for non-commercial use. It gives you the same next-generation QNX® OS, tools, and real-time capabilities trusted in mission-critical systems, now available for learning, experimenting, and building. QNX Everywhere lets you explore and create high-performance embedded projects for today and tomorrow.
